A late-term abortion facility in Ohio may close soon after the Ohio Supreme Court denied another request for an appeal Tuesday in its licensing battle with the state. Back in 2016, the Ohio Department of Health revoked the license of the Women’s Med Center in Kettering, near Dayton, for failing to have a written transfer agreement with a hospital for patients experiencing emergency complications.

A thirty-year-old seizing and unconscious abortion patient was transported to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, on Thursday after the Women’s Med Center could not treat her condition. The Women’s Med Center is a late-term abortion facility owned by the nationally-known abortionist Martin Haskell, who claims to have invented the partial birth abortion procedure, which was conducted on living babies until the process was banned by federal law in 2003.
