Court Rules Pittsburgh Can’t Stop Pro-Life People From Saving Babies Outside Abortion Clinic

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit ruled Friday that Pittsburgh’s censorship zones ordinance can’t be used to muzzle the free speech of pro-life sidewalk counselors. Rather than strike down the ordinance, the court reinterpreted it so that it no longer applies to such counseling.

National Institute of Family and Life Advocates v. Becerra

Description: California’s Reproductive FACT Act, AB 775, forced pro-life pregnancy care centers to provide free advertising for the abortion industry. The law required licensed medical centers that offer free, pro-life help to pregnant women to post a disclosure saying that California provides free or low-cost abortion and contraception services.
