Iowa Senate Committee Passes Amendment Saying There’s No Right to Kill Babies in Abortions

Iowa is getting closer to passing a pro-life constitutional amendment that makes it clear there is no “right” to abort an unborn baby. KCCI News 8 reports the Iowa Senate Government Committee approved Senate Joint Resolution 2 on Wednesday, moving it to the full state Senate for a vote.

Iowa House Passes Amendment Saying There’s No Right to Kill Babies in Abortions

An Iowa constitutional amendment that would prevent unlimited, late-term and taxpayer-funded abortions from becoming legal passed the state House on Wednesday. Iowa’s News Now reports the vote was 55-44 with three Republicans joining Democrats in voting against it. The pro-life measure now heads to the Iowa Senate for consideration.
