Pro-Abortion Feminists Sue Pro-Life Group for Calling Abortion “Murder”

The pro-life Texas group behind the Sanctuary Cities for the Unborn movement is being sued by pro-abortion feminist groups for calling the killing of unborn babies in abortions murder. The Longview News-Journal reports the pro-abortion Lilith Fund, The Afiya Center and the Texas Equal Access Fund filed the lawsuit Thursday, accusing Right to Life of East Texas and its director, Mark Lee Dickson, of defamation.

Pro-life leaders in Texas celebrated Tuesday after the American Civil Liberties Union dropped its lawsuit against seven cities that declared themselves sanctuaries for unborn babies. CBS DFW 21 News reports the ACLU of Texas announced its decision to end the lawsuit after the cities amended their “sanctuary for the unborn” ordinances.

A 13 th Texas city voted Thursday to declare itself a “Sanctuary for the Unborn” and ban abortions. The city council of Whiteface, population 449, in western Texas, voted 3-2 to pass the pro-life ordinance amid strong public support, The Texan reports.

Politifact “Factcheck” Falsely Claims Planned Parenthood is Not an Abortion Business

The website Politifact recently went after a article that exposed Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers’ plan to force his state taxpayers to fund the Planned Parenthood abortion business. Oddly the factcheck was issued over a year after the initial publication. The fact-checker rated it “mostly false” by arguing, in part, that Planned Parenthood is not an abortion business.
