Pro-Lifers Charged With Praying at Abortion Clinic, Charges Against Black Lives Matter Protesters Dropped

North Carolina pro-life advocates want to know why the local government still is pursuing charges against them for peacefully protesting outside a Charlotte abortion facility earlier this spring. Though other, larger protests have occurred since then with few arrests, the pro-lifers said only they were targeted for allegedly violating coronavirus restrictions, WFAE News Charlotte reports.

Eight Christians, Including David Benham, Arrested for Praying Outside Abortion Center, Trying to Save Babies

Pro-life Christian David Benham was arrested Saturday while praying outside an abortion facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department confirmed that they arrested eight people outside the abortion facility for allegedly violating a stay-at-home order during the coronavirus outbreak, the Christian Post reports. Benham’s is not the first arrest in recent days.

Black Pro-Lifers Arrested for Praying at Planned Parenthood While Hundreds of Rioters Go Free

In the midst of violent riots and looting in New York City, police in the city chose to arrest two black women who were peacefully counseling women outside a Planned Parenthood abortion facility instead. Church Militant reports pro-life advocates Bevelyn Beatty and Edmee Chavannes were arrested May 30 on the sidewalk outside the Margaret Sanger Planned Parenthood Center in Manhattan.
